Each year, the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce encourages the membership to nominate area businesses and individuals that possess unique qualities pertaining to specific awards.Three awards went to area businesses and three went to individuals.  The award recipient’s each received a beautiful glass obelisk with a small plaque on it at the Chamber’s holiday luncheon with over 130 in attendance, which was held on Thursday, December 6^th, 2012.  Congratulations to the following award winners:

Advanced Physical Therapy – Enterprise Award (for longevity in the community)

Deneweth’s Garden Center – Best New Business (in business less than two years)

Walmart of Hartland – Most Improved Business (for physical improvements to the business building)

Rebecca Oginski (O’Malley’s Irish Pub) – Community Service Award (an individual who has excelled at serving the community)

Jim McGrain (Hartland Insurance Agency) – Chamber Member of the Year (an individual who has been an outstanding member)

Louise Weaver (Salty Dog Travel) – Ambassador Award (an individual who is an outstanding mentor)

   The mission of the Chamber is to assist business establishment and growth in the Hartland area through information, support, and networking; and to provide a means for business to give back to the community.
