This past weekend, five Hartland High School Drama Club students attending Saginaw Valley University for Thespian Festival. 

At the festival the students have an opportunity to compete with other thespians in Monolgues, Musical Theater, Costuming, Theater Marketing, Theater Makeup and Theater Tech along with attending learning workshops and watching local theaters perform their fall productions. 

Of the five students attending, three of them were chosen to compete and all were recognized for their work and performances. 

• Senior Jennifer English was awarded a Medal for Superior Recoginition for Solo Monoluges along with Excellent in Musical Theater.  
• Junior Brandon Johnson was awarded Excellent in Musical Theater.  
• Sophmore Kerstin McConville was awarded a medal for Superior in Theater Marketing and Excellent in Solo Monoluges.  

Juniors Rachel Weber and Joe Hostnik chose to attend the festival for the workshops and shows. Every event that the Hartland High School Drama Club competed in they were recognized as Excellent or better. Mary Jo Del Vero, our Drama Club sponsor was very proud of all her students.
