Hartland Senior Center Wins Blue Ribbon at The Hartland Memorial Day Parade
The Hartland Senior Center's hard work paid off. The parade committee Patrice Heath, Mike Ryan, Judy Ryan, Judy Kniaz, Sharon Wolff, and Diana Field put their heads together and came up with a parade within a parade. They had cheerleaders, pickleball players, their float with the Big Drum and the Band, Clowns, Recycled Rockettes Tappers, Red Hattitudes, Sage productions, Cowboy Ray and the Caterpillar. One of the senior members under the caterpillar over heard a parade viewer say as they past by, "I want to be old so I can do what they do" The Senior's reply from under the caterpiller, "Don't worry you'll get there."
