Zremski Benefit

This event is a benefit for Tom Zremski and his family.

Two and a half years ago Tom was healthy and an active golf and racquetball player. When he began having headaches doctors diagnosed them as sinus headaches, but antibiotics did not help relieve them.

Two months later his headaches were getting much worse; he began to be forgetful and slur his words. Soon his speech and short-term memory were so affected he had to quit his job. Doctors at U of M were unable to diagnose him, and sent him to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

They saw his brain was sinking, and determined he has a rare neurological disorder which causes the brain to spontaneously leak cerebral spinal fluid. It is still unkown where the fluid is leaking. He is receiving treatments called "blood patches", which help but do not have a lasting effect.

He and his family are praying that a cure can be found and that 53-year old Tom, who is now confined to a wheelchair, can resume a normal life.

Sweet Crystal will be playing at this event, featuring Gail Engling. All are welcome, any support is appreciated. The event will be at Kahuna Coffee on Friday, January 25th, from 6 to 8 pm.
