Gunman Robs Brighton Bank

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect who robbed a Brighton bank Monday morning and ran away.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect from a robbery that took place at the PNC Bank in Brighton on Monday.

Police say the man entered the bank around 9:40 a.m. with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The man ran away, according to a press release, with an undisclosed amount of money. 

The suspect is described by police as being small in stature, around 5’6’’, and wore dark sunglasses and a scarf-type garment around his mouth.

The suspect was also wearing a tan and gray colored hooded coat with black or blue and white stripes around the elbow area with dark-colored windbreaker type pants, according to a press release.

Police say the Sheriff’s K-9 team was contacted and a track was attempted with negative results.
