State Rep. Cindy Denby, R-Handy Township, today was sworn into office as state representative by Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley.

State Rep. Cindy Denby (R- Handy Township) was sworn into office by Lt. Gov. Brian Calley on Wednesday.

Denby represents the 47th House District which includes part of Livingston County including Cohoctah Township, Conway Township, Deerfield Township, part of the city of Fenton city, Handy Township, Hartland Township, the city of Howell, Howell Township, Iosco Township, Marion Township, Oceola Township, Tyrone Township, and Unadilla Township.

Denby serves as vice-chair of the House Agriculture committee and also is a member of the House Commerce, Insurance, and Oversight Reform, and Ethics committees.
