Hartland's fifth grade travel basketball team took first place in Midland's H.H Dow High School Basketball Tournament on Saturday, February 16.  

The team played three games on Saturday against teams from Flint and the surrounding areas. 

The team won all three of their games to take first place in the tournament.

Tournament scores:

• FABE - Flint               Win  36 - 24
• MBA Rey                   Win 37 - 13
• MBA Kershua             Win  43 - 9

The fifth grade travel basketball team is coached by Jim Gualtieri and Todd Ekonen.
