- Lowest price in the Brighton area: $3.66 at Costco at 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd. and BP at 9400 Lee Road.

3. Groups Looks to Raise Funds for Fireworks Display
The Livingston County/Fowlerville Fireworks Committee looks to help raise funds for the annual fireworks show, according to the Press & Argus. The Fowlerville Village Council is set to vote on the permit for the display and parade route but does not provide funding, according to the report.
4. Engagment Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Dieter and Karen Lehnert of Hartland announced the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Nicole, a 2004 Hartland High School graduate, according to the Press & Argus. The groom is Christopher James Toulouse, son of Gary and Kathleen Toulouse of Grosse Ile. A July 7 wedding is planned in Plymouth, MI.
