1. The weather

Mostly sunny, with a high near 80, according to the National Weather Service

2. Fuel prices

Here's a quick daily survey of the regular per-gallon price, according to gasbuddy.com —

  • Speedway: $3.79
  • Mobil: $3.79
  • Shell: $3.98
  • Lowest price at in Highland: $3.63 at Citgo at S. Milford Road and Watkins Boulevard.
  • Lowest price in the Fenton area: $3.63 at the Clark station at Leroy and 3rd streets.
  • Lowest price in the Brighton area: $3.72 at Costco at 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd. and BP at 9400 Lee Road.

3. Cromaine Hosts Planetarium

Indian Springs Metropark brings their inflatable planetarium to the Cromaine village location on Tuesday from 1- 2:30 p.m. Bring a white t-shirt for a very cool craft. Must be going into 2nd grade or higher.

4. RetakeOurGov Meeting on Tuesday

RetakeOurGov holds it next monthly meeting at 7 pm at Memories Restaurant in Brighton. They are sponsoring a panel discussion with three nationally recognized experts from Docs4PatientCare. 5. Hartland trivia

No one was able to correctly answer Friday's question —  What year was the Hartland Homemakers, the first extension group started? Answer: 1928
