Carole Bullion of Hartland swings Thursday for $25,000 toward a vehicle from LaFontaine Automotive, such as this Buick Regal, if she makes a hole-in-one. Bullion and her playing partner Barb Adams of Brighton Township, standing next to her cart, were unable to ace the hole — a difficult feat at No. 16 at The Majestic at Lake Walden. The contest was one of many activities held during the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce's annual golf outing.

More than 100 golfers are enjoying sunny skies Thursday as they play in the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce's annual golf outing at The Majestic at Lake Walden.

The event helps raises money for the nonprofit's operations, a $1,000 scholarship (awarded this year to 2011 Hartland High School graudate Janeen Dusseau) and local charities.
