Updated Aug. 15: Due to weather, the Hartland Chamber golf outing has been re-scheulded for Sept. 20 at Dunham Hills. Conact Jana Warford at the Hartland Chamber to register or for more information.
The event will feature 18-holes of golf in a four-person scramble format and is the primary fundraiser for the chamber, according to executive director Jana Warford.
Money raised from the day will help support the Hartland Chamber's mission, according to Warford, which is to "assist business establishment and growth in the Hartland area through information, support and networking and to provide a means for business to give back to the community."
Proceeds from the golf outing will also help support the chamber's scholarship fund, annual business awards that are given each year as well as community gifts throughout the year.
Past recipients of Chamber gifts have included the Livingston County Red Cross, Gleaners Food Bank, Hartland Lions and the Hartland Optimists.
"We have so much fun at this outing, all are welcome," Warford said. "It is not only for Chamber members, anyone from the community is welcome and encouraged to play."
The event starts at 9 a.m. and will include a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. For more information or to register, contact Warford at 810.632.9130 or
