Evenson Places Top 50, But Foot Locker Run Ends; Area Runners Motor Through Holiday Races

Find your Hartland sport scores, news here.

CROSS COUNTRY — Hartland High School junior Avery Evenson didn't qualify for the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships, but she finished in the top 50 of a regional qualifier in Wisconsin on Saturday.

Evenson, who already has qualified for the Nike Cross Nationals on Dec. 3 in Portland, OR, was 49th with a time of 18:52. Only the top 10 runners advance.

RUNNING — At least three dozen Hartland-area runners and members of the Hartland High School cross country team completed holiday races over the extended weekend. Look below for the results of those mostly who live in the Hartland ZIP code.

Note, because Hartland is carved up among several different ZIP codes, there could be more area finishers. If you'd like to be included, please email christofer.machniak@patch.com and you'll be added here.
