Large amounts of snow resulted in another "snow day" for Hartland Schools. 

The district announced the school closing, due to weather conditions and poor roads.

More than 130 school districts in southeast Michigan were closed Wednesday, according to various news reports.  

The wintry mix of rain and snow began in Hartland Tuesday afternoon with rain and wind.  

Today's forecast calls for more snow with new snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible, according to the National Weather Service.
