Olympic Cheesy Bean Dip

Need something to snack on while watching the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony? Try this bean dip recipe.

In preparation for the upcoming Olympic games (Go USA!) I found a deliciously easy, cheesy bean dip recipe -- the perfect snack for the opening ceremony.

In addition to being easy make, this recipe can be whipped up in just 30 minutes. So invite your friends, kick back and enjoy the 2012 London Olympics.

To make this recipe you'll need the following:

  • 1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cans (16 ounces, each) refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups Monterrey jack cheese, shredded

To start, mix together the cream cheese and sour cream in a large bowl. Add the refried beans and mix well. Next, mix in the taco seasoning. Once well mixed, pour into a greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. You'll know it's done when the cheese is melted and slightly browned. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips. Enjoy!
