A public informational meeting is scheduled with the Hartland and Tyrone Township Boards of Trustees on Tuesday, February 26 starting at 7 p.m. at the Hartland Middle School, according to the Hartland Township website.

The public meeting will give updates regarding the wastewater system, which according to information from the Hartland Township, was "constructed as a result of resident concerns about the impact of failing wastewater systems on their lake."

It currently serves 184 homes around Lake Tyrone.

In August, approximately 40 residents of Tyrone Township on Lake Tyrone attended a Hartland Township Board of Trustees meeting to express their frustration and opinions regarding a potential sewer project that would affect their neighborhood.
