Judging has been completed on various categories for the first annual Hartland Heritage Day photo contest.

More than 20 photos were submitted and are currently on display in the children's section of the Cromaine Library, village location.

"People are now asked to vote on their favorite, which may or may not be one of the judge's winners," Barb Krueger, an organizer of Heritage Day said in an email to Hartland Patch.

Ballots and a ballot bag are available and all votes must be submitted before 5 p.m. on Sept. 21. 

The winning photo for the People's Choice award will have a ribbon and announcement in place on Heritage Day which takes place Sept. 22 in the village of Hartland.
