The learning activites are enhanced with grade appropriate content, animations, and audio and video instruction. Our focus is to prodvide highly engaging interactive content that fosters an interest in learning. While working through the activites, students can use offline resources as well to extend, enhance, and transfer knowledge. Students will be using Internet sites such as: Compass Learning, Khan Academy, and Math Playground to practice, re-learn or begin working on next years math workload. Students will work at their own pace. Mr. Anderson will help the one-on-one guidance and help when needed. As students move through the curiculum, each child will be monitored through individual, group and class progess through comprehensive quizzes and tests. The teacher will customize easy-to-read reports that provide the instructor and parents the information they need to follow their child's progress as well as help make decisions for future progess.

More About Farms Intermediate School
Farms Intermediate School is the Hartland School District's only building for fifth and sixth grade students. Located on the same campus as Lakes Elementary School, Farms is one of two district schools in Brighton Township. Programs include serving as reading buddies with younger students at Lakes, a music and band program and a student leadership club. Mikki Cheney is the principal.
