Chapman started at Baker College by taking a few classes to discover her professional niche. Once it was clear that she wanted to a “make a real difference in people’s lives on a daily basis,” she began attending classes full-time to complete a bachelor’s degree in human services. She holds a 3.85 GPA and expects to graduate in spring 2015.

The single mother of two children, aged 3 and 9 years, works full time as a client service representative at Mott Children’s Health Center in Flint.
