In her Valedictorian speech, Brittany Schepak recognized her family, the faculty of Kensington Woods and her fellow classmates, urging them to look forward with their life. “Even though the future is uncertain, and many of us have no idea what we will do for the rest of our lives, we need to remember that we define ourselves through the choices we make, and those choices will define our future. Instead of being afraid of what might happen, or worried that things might not go as we planned, we should look forward to the future and the exciting things that are in store.”

Kensington Woods’ Commencement ceremony is also a special time because each student gets a chance to recognize those in their lives that helped make their success possible. Many students thanked teachers, family members and friends, sharing kind words and some inside jokes. Graduate Christiana Eisenhut recognized the school, “I know that I speak for more than just myself when I say this school has done so much for me and I can honestly say it is life changing. I don’t know where I would be without all of you guys, thank you.”

The graduates were also addressed by Keynote Speaker Chuck Fellows, parent Diane Heinig and teacher Shawn Pollman.
