Michigan Cyclones Lacrosse Camp Next Week

With the success of the Hartland high school girl’s lacrosse team, there is more interest in the sport in our area. The middle school program continues to grow and we have multiple teams in our program.  We have kids starting as early as kindergarten.  The middle school has a team of 7th graders and a team of 8th graders. Needless to say, Hartland will have a competitive program for years to come.

The lacrosse season is over, but the thirst for more fun and knowledge about the sport remains.  So how do we remedy that?  Go to the Michigan Cyclones lacrosse camp next week.  Starting next Tuesday at Hartland High School Athletic fields, there will be girls of all ages taking part in the camp.  The camp will run from June 18th to June 20th. There are college coaches and players coming from all over the country (CA, FL, PA, MI) to help instruct the players that attend.

Camp is half day (9am-12pm) for K-5 and full day (9am-3pm) grades 6-12.  So what will we learn at the camp? The basics of the game for the half day campers with some advanced things as well.  The full day campers will not only go through the basics, but they will run through some advanced training to encourage their development in the sport.

Campers will be allowed to walk up and register for the camp on Tuesday morning.  The cost for the half day campers is $165.00.  The cost for the full day campers is $265.00.  So what do you need to bring to camp?

·        Girls lacrosse stick

·        Goggles

·        Mouth guard

·        Sneakers and Cleats (preferred)

·        Lunch (full day campers only)

·        Sunscreen

·        Water Bottle
