The River Invites the Public to Celebrate Groundbreaking Event on 76 Acres
Livingston County, MI. – On Sunday, September 15, 2013 at noon the community is invited to celebrate the groundbreaking for The River Community Church’s new campus in Hartland. Mark Frego, Building Director, shared that this will be the first phase campus build out consisting of approximately 38,000 square feet, with a state-of-the-art auditorium, lobby and children’s ministry wing. Future phases will include an administrative wing, chapel and additional children and student areas.
Keeping in line with The River’s vision of giving back locally, there will be a 1.5 mile+ fitness circuit for running or walking that will be available for community use. Work out stations will be spaced approximately every ¼ mile and the trail will start off in the east parking lot and run northwards from the church and loop back. In addition, the community will have availability to use the auditorium and lobby for meetings, plays, concerts and other events/productions.
Frego also added, “As The River looks to the future, we are open to what God has in mind for the remaining 42 acres and how they will be utilized.”
Join us at the Hartland Performing Arts Center, 9525 Highland Road, 48843 at 11:30 am to catch a bus, which will take you directly to the property for the groundbreaking event.
Further information may be found on The River’s website at www.theriver0n59.com/events.
The River Community Church is a contemporary, non-denominational church in Hartland, Michigan, made up of people who believe in balancing words with action, making an impact and doing the whole church thing a little differently. Wherever you’ve been, whoever you are, and whatever your thoughts about God, we invite you to come as you are, wear the clothes you like, grab a cup of coffee, and get a taste of church like you’ve never seen it before. We meet on Sundays at 9am, 10:30am and noon at the Hartland Performing Arts Center.
