1. The weather

Today there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 69. 

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Tuesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Annual Antiques Show

The Brighton Masonic Lodge hosts its annual antiques show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hartland Educational Support Service Center. Admission is $3 per perso and the event includes items such as furniture, clocks, advertising memorabilia, pottery and more. 4. Volunteers Needed for Imagination Station

The Imagination Station is looking for volunteers to help maintain the park. Volunteers are being sought for several dates, all Saturday mornings, in which maintenance work will be done on the Imagination Station. Volunteer dates are March 31st, April 14th and 28th, May 12th and 26th, June 9th and 23rd, July 7th and 21st, August 4th and 18th, September 1st, 15th and 29th and October 13th and 27th. Anyone interested is asked to contact Renee or by their Imagaination Station Facebook page.

5. Trivia

In 1875, how many schools were in existence in Genoa Township?

Congratulations to Melissa Lynn for correctly answering Thursday's question: How much does membership at the Brighton Senior Center cost?
Answer: Membership at the Brighton Senior Center cost $28 for city of Brighton, Brighton, Genoa, Green Oak and Hamburg Township residents. And $38 for all others. Anyone over the age of 90 will be given free membership.
