Here's a quick daily survey of the regular per-gallon price, according to gasbuddy.com —

  • Speedway: $3.54
  • Mobil: $3.64
  • Shell: $3.59
  • Lowest price at in Highland: $3.28 at Citgo at S. Milford Road and Watkins Boulevard.
  • Lowest price in the Fenton area: $3.29 at the Marathon station at Silver Lake.
  • Lowest price in the Brighton area: $3.39 at Costco at 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd. and BP at 9400 Lee Road.

3. Annual Turkey Dinner - Hartland United Methodist Church

With the beginning of the holiday season, The Hartland United Methodist Church is ready to once again serve a delicious homemade turkey dinner to the residents of the community. Since 1942, the church has been opening its dooors for the Annual Turkey Dinner.

The Turkey Dinner will be held on Saturday, Nvoember 3rd, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The dinner will be served buffet style and will include: turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, vegetables, coleslaw and salad, bread, dessert and beverage. There is a ticket donation of $12.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 6 to 12 and children under 5 are free.

Reservations are being taken for seating times from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can call Vivian at 810-62-6142 or the Church Office at 810-632-7476 to make your reservations. All profits will be given to various charties, local and world wide, that the United Methodist Women support.
