It's Wednesday and the last day of February- Leap Year! Today's quote comes from Abigail Adams.

We have too many high sounding words, and too few actions that correspond with them.

1. The weather

Rain and freezing rain, possibly mixed with sleet, is possible, becoming all rain after 1pm, according to the National Weather Service. High near 45. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

3. Hartland Resident Remembers Romney

Kate Long, from Hartland, tells the Press & Argus how she knew Mitt Romney when he was just a student at Cranbrook Schools in Bloomfield Hills. A friend of her high school boyfriend, Long says she attended some of the same parties and functions but never knew Romney well.

4. Livingston Educational Service Agency Preschool Program Begins Enrollment

The LESA Preschool Program has openings for the 2012-2013 school year. The kick off date for new enrollments is March 1. The LESA Preschool Program is a no cost comprehensive preschool for children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old on or before December 1, 2009 and not eligible for kindergarten. Families that meet eligibility guidelines, receive a variety of educational, medical and other community services. Congrats to Julie Bohnhorst for correctly answering Monday's question — Each year at Christmas time the community chorus, church choirs, high school chorus and visiting soloists and musicians joined forces to present what performance at the Hartland Music Hall? Answer: Handel's Messiah
