3. Soccer Players Commit to College

The Hartland girls soccer team had three players sign letters-of-intent last month, according to a story in the Press & Argus. Lexie Schmidt wil be going to Bowling Green, Jessica Bentley has plans to play for the University of Indianapolis and Lindsay Scott has committed to Ferris State.

4. St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Village Manor

The Howell Senior Center will host a St. Patrick's Day Party today at . The old fashioned Irish celebration will include Irish tea cakes, cheddar and ale soup with fresh thyme, corned beef on rye bread, homemade potato wedges, and grass hopper pie for dessert while enjoying sing-alongs, funny stories, and ballads from the Irish folk band "The Pub Runners."
