  • Shell: $4.19
  • Mobil: $4.09
  • Lowest price at in Highland: $3.82 at Citgo S Milford Rd near Watkins Blvd.
  • Lowest price in the Fenton area: $3.93 at the Marathon station at Silver Lake and Lincoln.
  • Lowest price in the Brighton area: $3.88 at Costco at 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd.

3. Brown Awarded Scholarship at The University of Findlay

Tessa Brown, a student at Hartland High School, was awarded a competitive scholarship from The University of Findlay’s Scholarship Day on March 3. 

Brown is the daughter of Denise and Gwen Brown, of Fenton. Brown’s activities include National Honor Society, Junior Optimist Club, Hartland Equestrian and was a member of the snowboarding team. She received the Hartland Hero Award. 
Brown was one of 135 students from around the country who competed for merit scholarships worth up to $5,000. High-ability students were selected based on high school grade point average and ACT or SAT scores. Only 12 students from this group were awarded a scholarship. 

4. Marshmallow Drop/Moon Glow

The Marshmallow Drop & Moon Glow is Thursday in Howell from 7pm-9pm. The event begins with a helicopter fly-over and a massive marshmallow drop. After the marshmallow drop, they will have the Moon Glow-- bring a working flashlight and Easter basket. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos (you must bring your own camera).
