Here's a quick daily survey of the regular per-gallon price, according to gasbuddy.com —

  • : $3.75
  • Mobil: $3.85
  • Shell: $4.05
  • Lowest price at in Highland: $3.73 at Citgo at S. Milford Road and Watkins Boulevard.
  • Lowest price in the Fenton area: $3.74 at the Clark station at Leroy and 3rd streets.
  • Lowest price in the Brighton area: $3.69 at Costco at 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd. and BP at 9400 Lee Road.

3. Swim Lesson Registration

Registration for began May 1. Registration is online at www.hartlandcommunityed.com. Monday classes have been added. Spots are filling quickly if you need help or have questions please call the pool at 810-626-2279.

4. I-96 construction will add six lanes to U.S. 23

State road officials are planning the construction of six new Interstate 96 lanes over U.S. 23 and Old U.S. 23 in Brighton Township, according to the Press & Argus. The project is estimated to cost $40 million.
