According to BPS teens that are U.S. residents between the ages of 13 – 19 can enter the competition via the band’s website at www.bulletproofsnow.com by selecting the “TEENS THAT ROCK” tab www.bulletproofsnow.com/teensthatrock. Valid submittals will be judged by DLM on creativeness and factual content as well as composition and structure. One contest winner will be notified on or about December 16, 2013 and the winning article will be published the January 2014 issue of Detroit Live Magazine. The winner will also receive a BPS merchandise package, including a T-shirt, wristbands, a CD, download card, and other items.

BPS said that this competition is about promoting and recognizing “teens that rock” at writing and who also love and support local music. According to BPS “writing is an outlet for many people and especially for teens, is a way to express their passion about things they really like.”
