Reduced Adoption Fees for Black and White Cats in April

The Humane Society of Livingston County is taking 50 percent off the normal adoption fees for all adult black or black and white cats adopted at the shelter for the month of April.

The Humane Society of Livingston County is taking 50 percent off the normal adoption fees of $80 for all adult black or black and white cats adopted at the shelter for the month of April.

“Our black cats tend to remain at the shelter longer than their brown or orange counterparts, which is unfortunately reinforced by what we hear from shelters around the country,” said Sarah Mews, shelter manager. “With our special promotion, we hope that people will stop by so they can see firsthand just how affectionate, playful and lovable they really are.”
