Lane Closures to Start Next Week on M-59
Stating Monday, construction is expected to begin on M-59, west of US-23, between Old US-23 and Oakway Drive.
Starting July 22, construction is expected to begin on M-59, west of US-23, between Old US-23 and Oakway Drive, according to an email from MDOT.
Improvements include pavement repairs and resurfacing an 8-mile stretch of M-59. During the week, there will be daytime flag control to maintain one lane on M-59 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Work is expected to begin on the west end of the project and move east with lane closures approximately 2 miles in length, according to MDOT.
