Super Bowl 2013: Game Time, TV Schedule, How to Watch Online, Where to Watch in Hartland

The San Francisco 49ers will take on the Baltimore Ravens during Super Bowl 2013 on Sunday, Feb. 3.

This Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens will take on the San Francisco 49ers for Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.

It's already being called the Harbowl: a Super Bowl clash between San Francisco 49ers coachJim Harbaugh and Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh. The Harbaughs are the first pair of brothers to work as head coaches in the NFL, and they'll square off for Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3. 

This year, Michigan has a few connections to the big game, many of them with the 49ers.

San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh was a star quarterback at the University of Michigan in the 1980s. Another former Wolverine is Jonathan Goodwin, a center for the 49ers.

Michigan State also has representatives in Garrett Celek, a tight end for the 49ers, and Trenton Robinson, a safety for the 49ers.

In addition, San Francisco offensive tackle Joe Staley played football at Central Michigan.

For Baltimore, Ravens offensive line coach Andy Moeller is a Michigan graduate.

TV schedule

Super Bowl XLVII starts at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

CBS-TV (channel 62) coverage of the big game begins at 1 p.m. with "Super Bowl Today" until 5 p.m.

The "Super Bowl Kick Off Show" starts at 5 p.m.

  2. Football fans are anticipated to consume an estimated 79 million pounds of Hass avocados during Big Game gatherings this year, according to the Hass Avocado Board.
  3. If you still think the 1983 season finale of M*A*S*H was the most-watched broadcast in the U.S., think again. The 2010 Super Bowl between the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts stole that title, only to be beaten exactly one year later when 111 million people tuned in to watch the 2011 Super Bowl between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to Nielsen Co. That record was broken again last year when 111.3 million people watched the Giants beat the Patriots, according to ESPN.go.com.
