It will be a quiet weekend in Hartland, but remember to check out our calendar for some local garage sales in the area. And luckily our neighboring communities have some fun things going on. Be sure to share any photos of your weekend fun in our Pics & Clips.

  • WhereMain Street in downtown Brighton
  • When: Friday, 5 pm- 9 pm, Saturday 10 am- 10 pm and Sunday, 10 am - 4 pm
  • Pricing: Free 
  • Why Go: As one of the most prestigious juried art festivals, this event is a favorite for highly talented artists who travel from across the state and nation to participate. For the 2012 event there will be approximately 100-125 artists that will line Main Street.

  • Where: Brighton Ford
  • When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Pricing: Free 
  • Why go: Brighton Ford will be hostin their 3rh Annual Autofest filled with vintage, classic and muscle cars. There will be 8 categories and 11 trophies awarded to the participating vehicles. There will be music, food, games, prizes. Ford Racing and Ford Motorsports teams are scheduled to make an appearance.

 

  • Where:  in Northville
  • When: Sunday, 11 a.m. 
  • Pricing: Free 
  • Why go: Enjoy a french crepes and a freshly brewed cup of coffee while listening to smooth jazz by professional guitarist, Ron Hark- a professional guitarist and bassist.

  • Where in Ferndale
  • When: Saturday, 8 p.m.
  • Pricing: $20
  • Why Go: A “rerun” of the hilarious Jamie Morris parody: The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode. Opening Saturday, July 14th, The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode will play Saturday-Mondays for an exclusive five week run at The Ringwald Theatre in Downtown Ferndale.
