6th Annual Huron Valley Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration

2011’s March on Main Street from Prospect Hill to Central Park is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 17. The lineup starts at 12:15 p.m.

This event is for everyone who recognizes the significance of Dr. King’s leadership and message in today’s world. Please come to support the holiday’s message of serving the community.

Groups are encouraged to march together with signs designating their support of MLK Day, and all are welcome to register for the March on Main Street at hvmlkday.org, although registration is not required for participation.

Marchers are also encouraged to dine beforehand in
downtown Milford, where submissions for the annual MLK Day Celebration art/essay/speech competition will be on display, before making their way to Prospect Hill for the march.
