Great Escape: Heavenly Scent Herb Farm

Store offers unique atmosphere, products, classes that make it a hidden gem.

TYRONE TOWNSHIP — is one of those places that you first go to with a girlfriend, and then you keep going back. It's one of our area's best kept secrets, nestled near the northeastern corner of Livingston County in Fenton.

When you drive up, your eye is immediately drawn to the 101-year-old barn that is painted to look like three European store fronts. The gardens are amazingly beautiful in the spring, summer and fall, and in the winter the garden art offers a unique form of character in the snow.

This is a place that you want to take your time exploring. The store carries items such as home decor, to the best of personal pampering gifts and scrumptious culinary spices for foodies. If gardening is your forte, they also have amazing greenhouses for which they are most notably known for. You are able to find herbs, scented geraniums, perennials and other rare horticulture wonders.
