Michael Symon's B Spot Burgers Comes to Village of Rochester Hills: The celebrity chef is expanding his popular burger chain outside the Cleveland area. The Rochester Hills location is expected to open in December.

Andiamo Trattoria Celebrates 20 Years in Grosse Pointe WoodsAndiamo founder Joe Vicari stated that 1.7 million have dined at the restaurant over the past 20 years.

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza Signs Lease in Royal Oak: The Pasadena-based build-your-own artisan pizza restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-October. The Royal Oak restaurant is part of a plan to build 10 Blaze Pizza locations in Metro Detroit and throughout Michigan.

Where to find good eats this weekend

Street Eats in Ferndale: The Ferndale Street Eats food truck rally comes to The Rust Belt Market from 5-10 p.m. Saturday.

Smokin' Barbecue (and Jazz) in Brighton: Sample great barbecue while listening to live jazz music in downtown Brighton. The festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, with more than two dozen restaurants participating.

Ethnic Tastes in Novi: Go around the world in Novi on Saturday, where you can catch performances by the Polynesian Fantasy Dancers, Chinese Dance Star, Ballet Folklórico México Lindo and The Michigan Center for Capoeira, among others. Food from area ethnic restaurants will be on hand as well.

Arts and Apples in Rochester: Apple pie is on the menu, of course, at this long-running Rochester event, but so are gyros, ice cream, hot dogs and more. The event runs all weekend long, and you can find a schedule here.
