New Name for Longtime Hartland Car Wash

After two and half years of bringing Bogie's Car Wash "up to par" owner Mike Rochowlak officially changed the name of the local car wash to Mikey's Car Wash.

With new equipment and a new look, a new name seemed only fitting, according to Rochowlak.

"We wanted to make sure we had everything going the way we wanted it before we did the final steps and put the name on it," he said.

A family nickname for the 26-year-old owner and 2005 Hartland High School grad, Rochowlak said his family encouraged him to re-name his business Mikey's for a more family-orientated and friendly feel.

"We were kind of throwing around some names, but everybody in the my family said you call it Mikey's," he said with a laugh.

Installation of large street sign took place on Tuesday making the name change of Mikey's Car Wash official, however Rochowlak said that loyal Bogie's customers should not worry and that all coupons will still be accepted under the new name.

Mikey's Car Wash is located at 10972 Highland Rd.
