Postal Business Expands to Hartland

Mike Clabuesch, owner of Goin' Postal Hartland, started his business in Fenton in August 2010, and in Hartland in June 2012.

How did your business come to be?: Both myself and Lucy left our corporate jobs and decided to start our own business in 2010. We opened our first location in Fenton and after almost 2 years looked to expand.

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?: We can tell you what all the major carriers will charge you to ship or mail. We can also help you save money by giving you options for packaging. Most places wont tell you if you change to a different box and we make the package 1 inch short that you could save money, we will. Also we price match for printing services so you always have the best price.

What services does your business provide?: We are a business service center. We provide shipping and mailing services from carriers like FedEx, USPS, DHL and Freight. We also have packing services and sell supplies. Need printing, we offer full printing services between both stores. Get your business cards, letterhead, postcards, banners or just a couple copies made, we can do it. Other basic services offered are faxing, notary, stamps, mailbox rental, passport photos to say the least.

What do you want your business to be best known for?: Providing friendly service at a fair price. we look to treat our clients as if they were our friends/family. Seems like some places you are a number, we dont like being a number.

What's your most popular product or service?: Fedex and USPS shipping ou the most popular. Recently though our mailbox rentals and full service printing are going fast as people discover us and what we can offer.

When was the business founded?: Fenton- August 2010 and Hartland- June 2012

Why did you choose to locate to Hartland?: We were looking to expand from our Fenton location and felt that Hartland was a natural fit for our business. The community is more closely aligned with our focus on "local". We like smaller communities were people have more connections with their friends/family. Hartland has a nice blend of smaller mom/pop stores and some larger stores.
