Two Hartland Mary Kay Consultants Earn their Free Cars

Connie Brinkerhoff and Jane Geen qualified for free Malibu's from Mary Kay Cosmetics this month.

Two Mary Kay directors earned their free cars from the well-known beauty company this month.

Celebrating their accomplishment at the Biggby Coffee in Hartland on Monday night, Connie Brinkerhoff and Jane Geen, both Hartland residents, qualified for their free white Malibu’s after more than 20 years with the company.

Brinkerhoff, who has been with Mary Kay for 29 years and Geen for 26 years, picked up their new cars from the Marty Feldman Chevrolet Dealership in Novi last week - on the same day.

"I don’t know how often this happens,” Brinkerhoff said, “but I think it’s pretty darn unique.”

Consultants with the company have to earn their free cars and according to Brinkerhoff, even being at a director level still doesn’t guarantee the free ride, it must be earned.

There are also different cars for different levels earned, so Brinkerhoff and Geen have the potential to qualify for a Ford Mustang in the future as well as the ultimate goal of the signature pink Cadillac.

“When people as me where my pink Caddy is, I say it’s being made,” Brinkerhoff said laughing. “I just haven’t sold enough lipstick yet.”
