This is Capone, one of the cats at the Livingston County Animal Shelter. A beautiful cat who was finally adopted and into a forever home. I spend about a couple of hours a week with the cats doing volunteer work, and it is very rewarding. They have an In-shelter foster program where you can adopt a cat/dog within the shelter by spending at least a half an hour a week with them. This helps to socialize them better, helping them to get adopted faster. Cats and dogs are so unconditional, it hurts to see them sitting alone in cages, not really understanding why...
