Why go: plus a pancake breakfast kick-off events that include a 10 a.m. parade.

Why go: Head "Up North" for 10 minutes on U.S. 23 for a parade, rubber ducky regatta, food, fun and more.
Where/when: 7:15 a.m. to fireworks after dusk in Fowlerville in eastern Livingston County.
Why go: It's the last day of a septaquintaquinquecentennial celebrations — includes a breakfast, home run derby, food, live music, a 6 p.m. parade and 10:15 p.m. fireworks.
Where/when: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Cohoctah in northern Livingston County.
Why go: A free pancake breakfast from 7-9:30 a.m. at Oak Grove United Methodist Church and a free pig roast after the parade at Calvary Bible Church (donations accepted at both), face painting, crafts, and a 11 a.m. parade.

Where/when: Noon till fireworks after dusk in Gregory in soutwestern Livingston County.
Why go: Parade features more than 100 entries. There are activities all afternoon and fireworks after dark.
What's closed
