Fenton Teen Dies in Train Accident, Brighton Firefighter Pulls Woman from Smoke-Filled Condo

There was plenty of news around Hartland this week.

1. A teen was this week while walking on the train tracks in Fenton, according to the Fenton Patch. Family says the 17-year-old girl was hearing impaired.

2. Dogs attacked Holly's Calvin “The Tail-Waggin’ Tutor," a certified therapy dog, according to the Holly Express.

3. The Novi Patch reported on the September to replace Thaddeus McCotter, which could cost $650,000. Nancy Cassis of Novi says she would consider dropping out to save taxpayers money.
