Good Morning Hartland (7-11-11)

Hello, Hartland. Today we're launching a new feature that will offer five tidbits of news and information that we hope you'll find useful on a daily basis before 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.

We plan to always include a daily weather report, local gasoline prices and a brief video from a Hartland-area resident wishing us all a "good morning." (Thanks to Patty Roeske for being our first person to wish us good morning). Other information, such as can't miss events to local history trivia, will vary based on what's going on. So, here's Monday's list:

3. HEARD ON THE STREET: The Rotary Club of Hartland raised more than $3,000 in its first-ever on June 25 when the goal of the club was to break even.
