1. The weather

Another day of bright sunshine with a high of 84, according to the National Weather Service. But thunderstorms could strike Wednesday night — 40 percent chance — as our low is expected to be about 68.

3. Sale and music at the Library

Friends of Cromaine Library will be selling an assortment of books, gifts and media in the group's annual from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the main branch in the village area. The library also is wrapping up its with Wildfire performing Top 40 country and southern rock. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with music slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.

  • Kaylee Phillips and Chaylynne McNitt of Hartland were two of four Livingston County soccer players who are featured in an Livingston County Daily Press & Argus article for competing in U.S. Youth Soccer national championships that begin today in Phoenix.
  • Steve Jacob has been named the new manager of the Hartland branch of the , the Press & Argus reports.
  • Sam Stark, a 2010 Hartland grad, lost to Steve Fedewa 5&4 in the Round of 16 during the Michigan Publinx Golf Association state match play championship, according to results on the association's website. The tournament was at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek and was won by Scott Jaschuk.

5. Hartland trivia
