4. One story from Connection Youth Services and a way to help

Carolina DeLuca, the retired program director of the Livingston County Child Abuse Prevention Council, shares the story of a 17-year-old girl named Felicia who needed a place to help turn her life around in a column published Sunday in the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus.

Following a failed adoption, The Connection Youth Services provided a temporary home and a place for Felicia to become clean and address anger management issues. To read her entire store, click here. While not all success stories like hers, the column details what this center does for those in need in our greater community.

5. Hartland trivia

Congrats to Linda Bowen for naming Hartland Township's supervisor — Bill Fountain. Right now, we have a three way tie for first since we started asking questions. See below for our updated tally — which we run every Monday.

Monday's question: What's the name of the Hartland newspaper that was first published in October of 1933 and is still delivered to homes throughout the area monthly during the school year?
