Here we are back to Monday. I hope you had a nice weekend. Here are five tidbits of news and information that we hope you'll find useful or entertaining.

And remember always included in this Monday through Friday feature is a video (at right) from someone wishing every one "good morning" as part of a message to our community. This week, also look for more back-to-school themed greetings.

1. The weather

Expect mostly sunny skies, with a high near 83 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a west southwest wind between 5 and 14 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Tonight, look for a cold front to move through with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The low will be about 61.

3. Hartland Area Community Council meets

The — which organizes events such as Hartland Heritage Day and the Memorial Day parade — meets 7 p.m. Monday in the media center of the .

A big focus of the meeting's agenda is discussing Heritage Day, which is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the village area of Hartland.

The volunteer group is always looking for new people to help out.

4. Where's Patches?
