Good Morning Hartland (9-26-11)

Happy Monday. I hope it doesn't become too gloomy with all the expected rain. Here are five tidbits of news and information that we hope you'll find useful or entertaining.

1. The weather

It's going to rain, according to the National Weather Service — 100 percent chance of precipitation. Expect mostly showers but a possible thunderstorm with a high of near 67 degrees. Winds will be out of the southeast between 14 and 17 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

The wet weather should diminish tonight with a 30 percent chance of rain under mostly cloudy skies and a low of 48.

3. Hartland school board holds regular meeting

The Hartland Board of Education meets 6:30 p.m. Monday in the board room at the , 9252 Highland Rd.

4. Hartland Players hold auditions for Jeff Daniels' 'Norma and Wanda'

Auditions for Jeff Daniels' adult comedy "Norma and Wanda" will be held 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Hartland Educational Support Service Center, 9252 Highland Rd. Conrgrats to Linda Bowen who got Friday's question — The Hartland High School girls swim and dive team defeated Brighton for the first time on Thursday since the program started in 2005.
