1. The weather

Watch out for fog this morning, but that'll give way to mostly sunny skies and a high near 76, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a south southeast wind between 6 and 13 miles per hour with gusts as high as 20 mph. Tonight, clouds will roll in with a low of around 54, but winds will diminish.

  • : $3.47 (cash is 10 cents lower)
  • Shell: $3.49
  • Lowest price in the Fenton area: $3.29 at the Marathon at Silver Lake and Lincoln.
  • Lowest price in the Brighton area: $3.32 at Costco at 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd.

4. Motorcyclist dies in deer crash

A motorcyclist died after a collison with a deer Monday on Old U.S. 23 south of Bergin Road in Hartland, according to the Press & Argus.

5. Hartland trivia

Congrats to Linda Bowen who answered Monday's question. What Hartland cooperative was established in 1939 that anyone could join for $5? Answer: A canning cooperative.
