Hartland Grad Looks to Become Next Fox Sports Detroit Girl

Hartland native Megan Baughman is in the running to become the next Fox Sports Detroit Girl.

Hometown girl Megan Baughman is in the running to become the next Fox Sports Detroit Girl.

The 23-year-old Hartland grad is looking for your votes to help represent the city and teams she was born cheering for and calls “electrifying.”

“Born in Lansing, raised in Hartland, sports have consumed my life,” Baughman said in her video profile. “From actually playing to watching Detroit sports team religiously, I just couldn’t get enough.”

Earning her degree in Sports Broadcast from Michigan State University, Baughman is also a former Hartland Patch sports writer with strong ties to the Hartland wrestling program as a former manager and sister to former Hartland All State Wrestler Doug Baughman.  

Currently working at Michigan State’s Sports Network, Baughman says she is ready to get back out in front of the camera and show off her “personality and energy.”
