Here's a look at activities and events coming up to help celebrate the holidays in Hartland.

Turkey Dinner at Hartland United Methodist Church

  • Date: Nov. 3
  • Time: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Where:Hartland United Methodist Church
  • Why go: The Hartland United Methodist church will host its 70th annual turkey dinner from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12. Children age 5 and younger eat for free. Call (810) 632-7476 for reservations or for more information. 

Livingston Lamplighters Barbershop Chorus and The Recycled Rockettes

  • Date: Nov. 4
  • Time: 4 p.m.
  • Where: Hartland Senior Center
  • Why go: The Livingston Lamplighters Barbershop Chorus and The Recycled Rockettes take you back in time when they present “Sentimental Journey." Tickets are $10 and are available at the Hartland Senior Center. Visit www.LivingstonLamplighters.org for more information.

29th Annual Fantasy of Lights

  • Date: Friday, Nov. 23
  • Time: Parade starts at 7 p.m.
  • Where: Downtown Howell
  • Why go: Kick off the holiday season with the Fantasy of Lights Parade as it marches down Grand River Avenue in historic downtown Howell before a crowd of thousands. This traditional event features a spectacular nighttime parade, marching bands and musical entertainment, a 5K run, children's activities, and of course, Santa Claus.

32th Annual Warm 'N Cozy

  • Date: Saturday, Dec. 1
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: Hartland Educational Support Service Center
  • Why go: Rows of vendors offering plenty of holiday crafts to choose from.

30th Annual Black Sheep Weavers Holiday Sale

  • Date: Friday, Nov. 30 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: Hartland Insurance 
  • Why go: Handcrafted, woven items that include blankets, hats, scarves, ornaments and more.

Craft Show

  • When: Nov. 10
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church 
  • Why go: Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church holds a juried craft show with hand-crafted, quality items. There will also be door prizes, bake sale and food concessions. Admission is free. 

Pinkney Annual Christmas Bazaar

  • Date: Saturday, Nov. 10
  • Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: 210 Mann Street, Pinckney
  • Why go: Admission is free. Shop for a wide variety of homemade items and visit numerous vendors and consultants, then enjoy a delicious homemade luncheon and raffles.

80th Annual Handel's Messiah

  • Date: Dec. 8
  • Time: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Where: Hartland Music Hall
  • Why go: The 80th Annual performance of Handel's Messiah, presented by the Hartland Community Chorus is December 8th. Directed by David L. Fockler, the event is dedicated as a living memorial to J. Robert Crouse Sr. Tickets are $10 and are available by calling Hartland Community Ed at 810-626-2150.

The Best Christmas Pagent Ever

  • Show times include: Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Where: Hartland Music Hall
  • Price: $6
  • Why go: Performed by the Encore Youth Theater, this family-friendly event will help kids of all ages get into the spirit of the season.
