Strong Hartland presence turns out for doubleheader between Detroit Red Wing Alumni and area firefighters.
Joe Kocur’s Third annual Celebrity Charity Softball Tournament drew a huge crowd to raise funds for local charities.Â
Former players from the Detroit Red Wings, and police and firefighters from White Lake, Milford and Highland played a doubleheader entertaining the crowd.Â
All the proceeds will benefit Team Kendal Kidz, Whaley’s Children Center, Special’s Day Camp, Wings of Mercy East Michigan, Orchards Children’s Services and the Shannon Gaber Silverthorn Lakeland High School Public Service Scholarship.Â

Families competed in a hot dog relay eating contest sponsored by the White Lake , as well as a special autograph session by Red Wing great Ted Lindsay.
